Getting started

Create an account, choose a plan and discover the product areas.

  1. 1Create your account and open the confirmation link in the email.
  2. 2Sign in. Your workspace is your Track Engine area for layouts, segments, drivers, vehicles and tracks.
  3. 3Open Track Planner and build your first track. You are ready when you are signed in and can start planning.

Track planning

Create a track and save it for later use.

  1. 1Open Track Planner and choose the appropriate track system.
  2. 2Place track pieces until the open ends meet. Green means the track is closed. Orange only means a Flex adjustment is possible.
  3. 3Save your layout. Leave the draft only after Track Engine confirms that it has been saved.

Race Control

Move from a confirmed layout to a prepared race session.

  1. 1Choose your race format.
  2. 2Assign drivers and vehicles.
  3. 3Verify the physical track and prepare the race. You are ready when Race Control confirms the required readiness.

Hardware connection

Connect a compatible Carrera Control Unit through AppConnect.

  1. 1Switch on the compatible Control Unit and connect it to a supported browser through AppConnect.
  2. 2Select the CU in Track Engine’s normal connection dialog and wait for the ready status.
  3. 3During track verification, drive over the marked point so Track Engine can identify the Check Lane or pit component there. You are ready when the required verification is confirmed.

Account & billing

Manage your plan, members and billing from your account.

  1. 1Open “My account” and check your active plan and usage.
  2. 2As workspace owner, manage billing through “Manage subscription”. Plus and Pro let you invite people within the available user seats; the owner counts too.
  3. 3An upgrade can take effect immediately; a lower plan takes effect at the end of the current period. You are done when the account confirms the active plan or scheduled change.
