Using the Navigator to orient yourself
- Open the Navigator in the Track Planner.
- Use it to get an overview of your whole layout.
- Use it to stay oriented in larger layouts.
An overview of the whole layout
The Navigator shows an overview of your entire layout and helps you understand the relationship between the current view and the layout as a whole.
Orientation in larger layouts
The Navigator is especially useful for staying oriented in larger, harder-to-read layouts.
Interacting with the Navigator
Clicking a spot in the thumbnail view jumps directly to that spot in the main view. You can also drag the main view around from within the Navigator. Zoom is synchronized between the main view and the Navigator.
A pure orientation tool
The Navigator is a viewport orientation tool — it doesn't change your layout itself.
